The National Entrepreneur Center was founded in 2003.

Originally named the Disney/SBA National Entrepreneur Center, then the Disney Entrepreneur Center and now operating as the National Entrepreneur Center, the center is a public/private partnership dedicated to the education, support, and development of the small business community and is funded entirely through sponsorship support.

Operating as a public-private partnership in conjunction with Walt Disney World, Orange County Government, The City of Orlando, and the University of Central Florida, the National Entrepreneur Center is a single facility that is home to 11 non-profit business support organizations, who serve small businesses by offering free business coaching, low cost business seminars and a variety of programs to connect and accelerate the small businesses of Central Florida.
