The University at Buffalo School of Management Center for Entrepreneurial Leadership (CEL) has been in existence since 1987.
The mission of the Center is to unlock human potential, create jobs and inspire wealth that collectively invigorates the greater Western New York economy and community through entrepreneurial development.
CEL's experiential entrepreneurial program is an individualized and interactive education designed by entrepreneurs, based on proven principles, backed by the thought leadership of the University at Buffalo School of Management and supported by mentoring teams of seasoned experts from the local business community.
Contributions
CEL offers a 10 month Core Program to help business owners overcome challenges, create new opportunities and develop valuable networking relationships with the Western New York business community. Participants are given the tools and resources to examine their entrepreneurial strengths and weaknesses while exploring new methods for business growth. CEL's Advanced program provides participants with a vehicle to integrate this newly gained knowledge into their business communities.
More dynamic than an academic discipline and more operative than the basic rudiments of business; CEL champions entrepreneurial gusto in the pursuit of sustainable opportunities, long-term successes, financial independence, and genuine personal reward.
