The Dwyer Group is the parent company of seven home-service brands: Aire Serv, Mr. Appliance, Mr. Electric, Mr. Rooter, Glass Doctor, Rainbow International, and The Grounds Guys. These seven brands account for approximately 1,300 independently owned and operated businesses throughout the U.S. and Canada, and 300 in Europe. Throughout its 31-year history, The Dwyer Group has trained and equipped thousands of new and experienced small business owners to succeed in their local markets.

The Dwyer Group also founded VetFran, a program offering incentives for military veterans to open a franchise. Today, over 460 franchise companies participate. In the past year, the total number of veteran-owned franchise businesses among the most military-friendly franchisors jumped nearly 4,000 or 35 percent to a record 11,469. The Dwyer Group has assisted more than 250 veterans within its own brands to become franchise owners, totaling $1.4 million in financial assistance.

The Dwyer Group has provided thousands of small business owners across remote corners of the U.S. and Canada with training in finance, marketing, branding, technical expertise, customer service, and implementing values in their small business. The Dwyer Group also founded the VetFran program, now responsible for helping tens of thousands of veterans open franchises, and responsibility for millions of dollars in financial discounts being offered to those veterans.

The Dwyer Group takes residential and commercial contractors-- industries that are not typically known for professionalism-- and teaches them excellent customer service techniques, professional branding, and a Code of Values for their business. Through its franchises, The Dwyer Group also takes individuals that might not otherwise have become start-up entrepreneurs and helps them go into business for themselves with a proven system.
