Squidoo is a free community website that allows users to create pages (called lenses) for subjects of interest. Lenses are pages, like flyers or signposts or overview articles, that gather everything you know about your topic of interest--and snap it all into focus.
It was founded in 2005 by Seth Godin, and is on the list of the most 100 most popular websites in the US, ranked by Quantcast traffic. Squidoo has been reviewed by the New York Times, Mashable, BoingBoing and sites and papers around the world.
Contributions
Entrepreneurs and small business owners use Squidoo to share and showcase their expertise every day. Because of its simplicity and affordability (it's free), Squidoo is the home of more than 1.5 million lenses, where "lensmasters" write about business, marketing, sales, home improvement, books, cooking and everything else in between.
