Established in 2005, MOSAIC Technologies Group (MOSAIC) is a Veteran-owned, Small Business Administration (SBA) certified 8(a) and Small Disadvantaged Business (SDB) that provides consulting and technical services to Government and Commercial clients. Headquartered in Maryland, MOSAIC is able to support client needs ranging from classified mission support to technology development to Capability Maturity Model Integration (CMMI) training and appraisals, and is an authorized Software Engineering Institute (SEI) Partner. As part of its Process Services, MOSAIC assists various small businesses to define, deploy, and improve their processes, resulting in more effective and efficient processes that increase customer satisfaction and product quality. Recently, MOSAIC assisted another certified small business to achieve CMMI Maturity Level 2, allowing the small business to qualify for more Federal government contracts as well as increased productivity on its various contracts. MOSAIC provided process engineers to review process descriptions, assess gaps in the processes compared to the CMMI, recommend sensible solutions specific to the company’s needs, and determine if actual implementations actually resolved their process issues. MOSAIC also provided the official Introduction to CMMI courses to this company so they understood expectations and were able to plan their process improvement activities specific to their business needs.
