Infusionsoft provides all-in-one sales and marketing software designed specifically to help small businesses succeed. The company was founded by Clate Mask, Scott Martineau and Eric Martineau as a custom software shop, but, over time, they recognized that the multiple systems their customers used to manage sales and marketing tasks did not work together. Shifting gears, they built Infusionsoft, a Web-based/SaaS system that combines CRM, email and social media marketing and e-commerce, all driven by automation, and brought it to market in 2004.
After bootstrapping the business, Infusionsoft raised two rounds of venture capital totaling $19MM. The business weathered the entrepreneurial storm with business-model changes, a recession, and shifts in the marketplace. Despite these obstacles, Infusionsoft has scaled to a multi million dolllar market leader with 300 employees and nearly 10,000 customers.
