Janet Harris-Lange is a longtime entrepreneur, as well as a co-founder and President of the National Women Business Owners Corporation (NWBOC), the highly-regarded national certifier for Woman Business Enterprise (WBE) certification.

NWBOC was established to increase competition for corporate and government contracts through implementation of a national certification program for women business owners. Working with 700 corporations and government individuals, NWBOC wrote the Standards and Procedures for WBE certification that virtually all other government and 3rd-party certifiers have adopted today.

Janet was national president of the National Association of Women Business Owners; served on the Small Business Advisory Council for the Federal Reserve Bank of Atlanta; was Florida’s delegate in 1995 for the influential White House Conference on Small Business. Among her many awards is the 1993 Entrepreneur of the Year Award by Inc. Magazine.
