Hilary Hinton "Zig" Ziglar is a well-known author, salesman, and motivational speaker born in Alabama as the tenth of 12 children. Before starting his career as a motivational speaker, Ziglar worked as a salesman and then a vice president and training director for the Automotive Performance company.

Despite a 2007 fall down a flight of stairs that left him with a short-term memory problem, as of 2010 Ziglar still travels around speaking at different motivational seminars.
