Leo Welder co-founded Zilker Ventures, LLC in 2007 and acts as Operations Officer of the company. Since conception, Zilker Ventures has been named one of the top fastest growing tech companies by Lead411 and has reached 2.5 million people. Previously, Leo spent three years with LCG & Apogee Search where he helped them grow from five to over forty employees, making it into one of the top 1000 fastest-growing companies in the country. Leo holds a degree in finance and Plan II from The University of Texas at Austin and an MBA in Entrepreneurship from the Acton School. Over the course of his career, Leo has founded or helped found several startups and is very involved in charity and civic organizations. Currently, he serves as President of the Young Men’s Business League, Austin Sunshine Camps and is a Board Member of the Hill Country Conservancy.
