Brad Smith

Brad Smith is Intuit's president and chief executive officer. Prior to being named CEO, Smith was senior vice president and general manager of Intuit's Small Business Division and was responsible for the company's portfolio of small business solutions, which included QuickBooks, Payments and Payroll products.

Prior to joining the company in February 2003, Smith served as the vice president and general manager of Intuit's Accountant Central and Developer Network. Before joining Intuit, Smith served as the senior vice president of marketing and business development at ADP and also held various positions with Pepsi, Seven-Up and Advo, Inc.

Smith earned his master's degree in management from Aquinas College in Michigan and a bachelor's degree in business administration from Marshall University in West Virginia.

Under Brad Smith’s leadership, the Intuit Small Business Group became a main driver of Intuit’s fiscal success. More importantly, as CEO Smith has continued to develop products and software that help small business owners better manage their finances. Since his first days in his current role, Smith has remained true to Intuit’s core values and continues to produce products that delight customers while strategically shifting the company to meet the demands of a connected services economy. Brad Smith’s philosophy of fast innovation has helped the small business group at Intuit to develop and deliver innovative products to its customers. Smith’s contributions to the small business market are countless as he helped to drive almost $4 billion in revenue during the 2011 fiscal year.
