By September 2001, Todd Harrison '91 BS had recently succeeded Jim Cramer as the president of the illustrious hedge fund Cramer Berkowitz and was a featured columnist on TheStreet.com’s “Realmoney” Web site. But the September 11 terrorist attacks altered his ambitions. “From our downtown offices I saw the second plane hit. I lost friends and saw people jumping from the towers. Something very powerful shifted in me that day.” Out of the ashes rose a desire to enhance human potential through financial understanding, and in 2002 Minyanville Publishing and Multimedia was born.
