Matt Cutts, the head of Google's Webspam team, joined Google as a software engineer in 2002. One of Matt's first projects at Google was the company's family filter called SafeSearch. He holds a Ph.D. in Computer Graphics from the University of North Carolina, an M.S. from UNC-Chapel Hill, and B.S. degrees in Mathematics and Computer Science from the University of Kentucky.
