Burton Goldfield, President and CEO of TriNet, is known for driving product innovation, and has impacted the TriNet client experience with the addition of 22 new products and services. He more than doubled revenue, to almost $200 million by the close of 2010, and has invested heavily in the company's technology platform. In 2009, despite the difficult economic times, Burton raised $80 million to acquire a larger, public competitor, Gevity, and has grown TriNet's client base from 2,000 to 5,000. Burton's leadership has cemented TriNet's role as trusted advisor to small businesses in guiding them through complex regulation.
In Nov. 2010, Burton was named Most Admired CEO by the San Francisco Business Times. He has endeavored to become a noted expert in the varied industries he is a part of, and has spoken at numerous association events, including leading a two-part panel on the PEO industry's market growth opportunities in September 2010 at NAPEO's annual expo.
