Bo Burlingham is an editor-at-large of Inc. magazine, which he joined in 1983.

He is the author of Small Giants: Companies That Choose To Be Great Instead of Big (Portfolio, 2006), which was a finalist for the Financial Times/Goldman Sachs Business Book of the Year Award in 2006. The book explores how maverick companies passed up the growth treadmill and focused on greatness instead.

Burlingham is co-author with Jack Stack of “The Great Game of Business and A Stake in the Outcome,” and co-authors with Norm Brodsky the popular monthly column in “Inc.” called “Street Smarts,” which in 2008 won an American Society of Business Publication Editors gold Azbee award. He is also the co-author with Norm Brodsky of The Knack.

Burlingham is a leading voice in journalism covering small business and entrepreneurship and a popular speaker.
