A journalism grad with tech PR experience, Canadian Erin Bury joined Sprouter to better utilize her passion for networking, social media and Web 2.0 technologies. Channeling the voice of the community, Bury is the connector between Sprouter and the world at large; providing ongoing communication in both directions.
She also writes about technology, startups, entrepreneurship, social media and community management on Mashable, The Globe & Mail, Business Insider, Venture Beat, TechVibes, and BlogTO.
Bury often speaks about Community Management and startups at conferences like North by Northeast and Podcamp Toronto. She has appeared in the New York Times, The Globe and Mail, Forbes, CNN, AOL Small Business, and the Financial Post.

In addition to managing communities, Bury was a co-organizer of the first three Twestival Toronto events, and is co-founder of GenYTO, a group for young, wired professionals in the city that has expanded to cities across North America.
