A lifetime writer, Sacks' professional writing journey began in 1997 when her one-act comedy play, 48 Hours to Idaho, came in 3rd in the nation in a Writer’s Digest contest.
A lifetime performer, Sacks spent 6 years employed by radio and television news stations. She wrote and brought to life over the airwaves and on camera, creative, informative, and educational material daily for both newscasts and specialty programs (for which she has received multiple honors and awards including Best News Piece of the Year from the Wyoming Broadcasters Association).
