Rebecca has lived in Austin for 9 years, has a Bachelor in Business Administration in Marketing from the McCombs School of Business at the University of Texas at Austin.
She is a member of Austin Young Chamber of Commerce, Austin Independent Business Alliance, Better Bites of Austin and is the Secretary of the Social Media Club of Austin, and Social Chair of the Austin Food Blogger Alliance founding board.

Under the age of 28, Rebecca has: - Founded & leads a social media & marketing consultancy, LocalizeAustin, that has supported over 25 small and local businesses/organizations/non-profits since launch in 2011 through marketing advising, social media management, PR outreach, and event coordination. - Managed public relations for three autism initiatives securing media coverage on local & national media outlets including Age of Autism, AutismSpot.com, GenerationRescue (led by Jenny McCarthy), FOX, YNN, KUT, KXAN & Austin American-Statesman, Austin Family Magazine, DO512. - Coordinated 7 community events for over 250 guests collectively, including venue locating, promotion, branding, training development, and sponsorship management, partnering with 30 local businesses. - Partnered with Google to host free Google+ workshop for 45 small business owners, & a local high-end video production for 12-hour video marketing workshop to help 10 small businesses (www.upgvideo.com/marathon).
