Joyce Reid, as the founder and CEO of Gift Retailers Connection and Gift Basket Network, has provided influence to the gift and gift basket industry through her writing, teaching at workshops, leadership, and counseling. In 2001, she created a network of gift and gift basket companies for the purpose of helping them grow their business within today's changing world. Many of the charter members remain today.
She has written for a number of national publications. When there was no longer a viable publication for the industry, Joyce started and still publishes Gift Retailers Connection, an online magazine now in its second year of publication.
She has counseled many small business start ups in a variety of industries as a SCORE counselor and as a small business counselor for the Coconino County Small Business program.

Those who help their competition grow their businesses are rare but Joyce is such a person. She is always willing to give advice over the phone--even on her own dime--to others who are struggling to be successful.
