Helen has been a guest speaker for national organizations such as the National Initiative for Children’s Healthcare Quality (NICHQ), National Association of Public Health Policy, Health Resources and Services Administration (HRSA), and the National Epilepsy Foundation America. She has several published articles on cultural competency and patient-centered medical home model. Some of her clients include UMDNJ School of Public Health, New York Institute of Technology Medical School, the Interagency Council of New York, and others, and L.A. Children’s Hospital.
Helen connects and refers other small businesses to potential clients.
Helen Dao has dedicated her consulting career in making sure health care providers understand the cultural and health needs of minority populations in the United States. She develops and facilitates cultural competence trainings to many different organizations across the country. Helen also works directly with community members, conducting educational, focus groups, developing community resources, and connecting providers with communities.
