In 2013, ALIVE Magazine introduced the Midwest Influencer Network, a small business-focused community of Midwest-based influencers. As part of the restructuring of the digital department, MWIN partially led ALIVE Magazine to an 800% increase in monthly digital revenue in 18 months. Through the introduction of content marketing services and a small business-focused influencer program, the digital department stabilized at 14% of monthly revenue, up from 3% in 2012.

In 2015, the Midwest Influencer Network relaunched as the fourth freestanding company under the ALIVE Media Group umbrella. Working primarily in tourism, travel and retail categories, MWIN has supported over 150 brands and integrated marketing 25 agencies. MWIN is projected to more than double in size in 2016.
