Health Plan Services launched its Direct to Consumer Insurance business in 2012 that incorporates nationally the top under age 65 health related products and Medicare related products from A+ rated carriers. Led by David Holton, Vice President of Consumer Sales the brand "BenefitCrossroads" was born. The direct to consumer business in 2014 expanded to include another new brand "MyConsumerLink" to also support D2C, but at the client level for individual Private Health Marketplaces/Exchanges. Growth again was violent and the brand sites today has 70+ PEs designed and deployed along with full service sales advocates to support. With a staff of licensed agents supporting national consumers, Brokers and Associations focused on a sales "advocacy" approach that is less about selling and more about building relationships our Direct to Consumer business has grown from a $0 annualized premium less than 3 years ago to $32 Million+ in annualized premium.
